A New Home for Miami Beach's Marine Patrol Operations
The new 9,650-square-foot, three-story Marine Patrol Facility will replace the City’s existing headquarters and provide a centralized operations center for both the Miami Beach Police Department Marine Patrol Unit and the Miami Beach Fire Department Marine Patrol Unit.
The facility has been thoughtfully designed to improve operational efficiency while enhancing the City’s ability to respond quickly across Biscayne Bay.

The facility will include:
Ground Floor
- Public lobby and visitor reception
- Public restrooms
- Parks Department office supporting Maurice Gibb Memorial Park
- Covered boat storage
- Dedicated storage for Police and Fire marine equipment
Second Floor
- Headquarters for the Miami Beach Police Marine Patrol Unit
- Shared wellness and fitness area
Third Floor
- Headquarters for the Miami Beach Fire Marine Patrol Unit
By bringing multiple agencies together under one roof, the facility will strengthen collaboration, improve emergency preparedness, and enhance public safety throughout the community.
